Customer Service/Scales Operator Volunteer
Foodbank volunteers are involved in the smooth operation of this busy warehouse. The generosity of volunteers' time makes a huge difference to the lives of those who rely on Foodbank to put food on their tables. When you volunteer with Foodbank, you are making a meaningful contribution to your community and to families in the Midwest area.
Responsibilities
* Entering simple information and stock into the Point-of-Sale tablet.
* Operating the EFTPOS machine (training provided).
* Loading stock in and out of trolleys (lifting involved).
* Calculating weights.
* Matching products to on‐screen codes.
* Assisting customers with inquiries.
This role suits someone who can think on their feet, is fit, friendly, reliable, energetic and remains calm under pressure.
Previous customer service experience would be an advantage.
On‐the‐job training is provided.
Needed on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
