* Lead and inspire a high performing Environment team, fostering a culture of collaboration, technical excellence, safety and quality across project delivery.
* Drive strategic growth by building strong client relationships, supporting business development initiatives and contributing to winning proposals and bids.
* Oversee the successful delivery of Contaminated Land and/or Environmental Impact Assessment projects, providing technical guidance and ensuring outcomes meet client and business expectations.
* Mentor and develop team members at all levels, supporting technical capability, career growth and future leadership development.
* Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, using strong communication, negotiation and problem‐solving skills to resolve complex issues.
* Take a proactive approach to operational and project challenges, using sound judgement to anticipate risks, solve problems and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Environmental Science or a related discipline, with ideally 10+ years of environmental consulting experience.
* Proven experience delivering environmental projects and strong understanding of relevant impact assessments and contamination investigations.
* Australian citizenship preferred due to defence‐related requirements; experience working within Defence environments highly regarded.
* Strong leadership and relationship‐building skills, with a passion for mentoring, collaboration and developing high performing teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
* Commercially minded, client‐focused and highly organised, with strong problem‐solving skills, sound judgement and attention to detail.
