Forklift Driver
As a Forklift and Machine Operator you will be responsible for complying with the mobile plant site rules, including daily forklift pre‐start checklists, and maintaining the machine line to ensure operations are not affected.
You will hold a current valid forklift license with at least 12 months of experience and be open to the opportunity to be trained and upskilled as a machine operator. You will be open to working across day and night shifts and be flexible to work across a rotating shift pattern.
What The Role Involves
* Loading and unloading of stock and putting stock away
* Perform forklift pre‐start checklist daily
* Place gluts onto packs to assist in the loading
* Split packs
* Sort through damaged stock
* Maintain high attention to detail by rearranging leaning stacks and auditing stack height
* Ensure that quality standards are met in accordance with product specification
* Accurately record and maintain data on relevant reports/forms
* Collect relevant reject samples from production runs
* Manual handling of up to 20 kg
* General housekeeping duties
* Be flexible and adaptable with a willingness to embrace shift work
What You Will Need
* Hold a valid driver's license and own vehicle
* Demonstrate a knowledge and understanding of safety in the workplace
* Be open and willing to do manual labour around the plant as required
* Excellent attention to detail with strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Manufacturing and warehouse background experience highly regarded
* All successful candidates will be required to undertake a pre‐employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
