About the role
Process Engineer to join the Centurion underground mine located 160 kilometres west of Mackay. Reporting to the CHPP Manager, the role ensures efficient operations of all plant and optimum product recovery to meet targets.
Duties
* Provide technical support and advice to ensure a successful ramp‐up and ongoing operations of the processing plant
* Work closely with the operational team to provide ongoing coaching to drive plant efficiency
* Oversee the onsite lab; ensure lab technicians and personnel support ramp‐up activities and maintain safe practices in operation
* Contribute to the identification, development and delivery of process improvements and opportunities within the CHPP
* Monitor and report on the process plant's performance
* Evaluate operational risks and opportunities and ensure implementation of mitigation strategies

This position is offered on a 9‐day fortnight (Monday‐Friday, Monday‐Thursday) roster and can allow for a residential (Moranbah) DIDO or FIFO lifestyle.

Qualifications
* Engineering degree ideally in Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical or related discipline
* Minimum 5+ years' experience in mineral comminution, beneficiation and solid/liquid separation technologies
* CHPP operational and technical experience
* Production and maintenance management competence and understanding
* Uncompromising commitment to safety
