Overview
Cardiac Scientist/Technician – St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside is a full‐time (part‐time considered) role within our busy Cardiac Catheter Laboratory (CCL) on the Northside of Brisbane. The role involves supporting advanced cardiac investigations including coronary angiography & angioplasty, right heart catheterisation, structural procedures such as TAVI & Mitraclip, pacemaker & defibrillator implantation, electrophysiology studies and radiofrequency/pulsed field ablation.

Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in Science (or equivalent) with a strong component of human physiology.
* Minimum of 12 months experience in cardiac investigations (preferable).
* Haemo‐dynamic monitoring experience (preferable).
* Electrophysiology and permanent pacing experience (preferable).
* Motivated with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours within a highly skilled multi‐disciplinary team.
* Ability to support and practice the mission and philosophy of the hospital.
* Desirable: Certificate of Electrophysiology Institute of Australasia and/or International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (Electrophysiology & Pacing).
