The Role
The Hospital is a 180‑bed regional referral hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, emergency, and critical care services.
You will provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care to patients across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. The role includes:
Delivering General Medicine services, including on‑call coverage and acute care
Leading and developing services within your chosen subspecialty area
Providing clinical supervision, education, and mentorship to junior staff and students
Actively contributing to service improvement, clinical governance, and research initiatives

Essential Criteria
Hold Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or an equivalent overseas specialist qualification (CCT UK, CSCST -Ireland, ABIM - USA, RCPSC – Canada, Vocational Registration – NZ)
Be eligible for specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Dual training or recognised subspecialty interest in one of the following: Geriatrics, Neurology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases, or Cardiology
Demonstrated experience in acute and general medicine with a robust commitment to teaching, teamwork, and clinical excellence
