Bluff Point Medical Centre (BPMC) is a locally owned and operated practice in Geraldton. Due to the Practice's rapid expansion, we are looking for a medical receptionist to join our close-knit team.
BPMC has 7 General Practitioners consulting from the centre all providing a variety of services including skin medicine, travel clinic, aged care and anesthetics to the hospitals and women's/men's health.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed applicant to join our practice team. The successful applicant will be someone who enjoys customer service and can maintain a high attention to detail with data entry and confidential information.
We will consider both part time and full time applicants.
The Role
* Provide a high standard of administrative support to our patients and GP's
* Answering telephone calls, scheduling of appointments and enquiries
* Triaging patients and monitoring waiting room
* Welcoming and greeting patients
* Handling accounts, banking and Medicare batching
* General administrative/reception tasks associated to the role
As the successful candidate you will have:
* Previous experience in a receptionist role
* Ability to work under pressure in a calm and professional manner
* Experience with Best Practice software is desirable but not essential as training will be provided to the right applicant
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Professional presentation with a high level of customer service skills
* Ability to be a team player
