Base salary $174,034.00 plus leave loading and superannuation contribution (total remuneration valued at $197,241.00).
Role Overview
Deputy Principal at a large regional primary school with a diverse student population. Responsibilities include leadership of teaching and learning, managing daily operations, and building community partnerships.
Specific Selection Criteria
* Evidence of highly visible, collaborative and consultative leadership skills to lead and improve explicit teaching and whole school literacy and numeracy programmes.
* Proven ability to manage daily operations efficiently with strong communication, organisational and management skills and systems in a large, diverse school setting.
* Demonstrated leadership in advancing student wellbeing and sustainable community connections to authentically promote a positive, inclusive and culturally supportive school environment for all.
General Selection Criteria
* Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning and classroom practice.
* Knowledge of curriculum, assessment and student welfare with the ability to lead and design quality, inclusive teaching and learning programmes.
* Educational leadership skills to build the capacity and manage the performance of individuals and teams.
* Well‐developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, staff and parents.
* Ability to plan and manage resources effectively and equitably to support teaching and learning.
* Knowledge of and commitment to the Department's Aboriginal education policy.
