Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer‐focused Administration Officer to provide high‐quality support within the Water section. In this role, you will action incoming customer requests received via Customer Service, raise and manage work orders, coordinate reactive and planned activities, and support the day‐to‐day delivery of water and wastewater services.
Responsibilities
* Provide frontline administrative support within a fast‐paced operational environment, actioning customer requests via Customer Service.
* Raise and manage work orders.
* Coordinate reactive and planned activities.
* Support the day‐to‐day delivery of water and wastewater services.
* Maintain and monitor a shared inbox, ensuring timely communication with customers and internal teams.
* Follow up on service requests to support efficient resolution.
* Issue and process standpipe hire and returns.
* Support contractor and operational workflows.
* Undertake general administrative tasks to ensure smooth service delivery.
* Provide high‐quality, relevant and timely administrative, secretariat, reporting and financial support to a multi‐disciplinary team across different work locations.
Qualifications and Experience
* Certificate IV in Business or similar competence and/or extensive relevant experience.
* Current "C" class driver's licence.
* Well‐developed customer service and communication skills, including the ability to educate and influence.
* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
* Demonstrated proficiency in Council's financial and administration systems, including but not limited to CiAnywhere and CES or equivalent.
* Ability to work independently and prioritise and manage time effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing work environments while demonstrating a positive attitude.
