Overview
We are seeking an energetic and reliable pastry cook assistant to join our experienced production team. We are a leading provider of premium baked goods, with over 20 years of experience in the industry.
Responsibilities
* Assist our mixer: batch mixing, accurately measure and mix ingredients. Heavy lifting is required.
* Maintain compliance with food hygiene procedures and safety requirements.
* Assist the teams across all aspects of our production.
Requirements
* Experience as pastry assistant is preferred.
* Meticulous in following recipes, procedures and processes to ensure consistent high-quality products.
* Relevant industry experience in high-volume, fast-paced food production environment.
* Able to complete repetitive tasks and heavy lifting.
* Strong understanding of HACCP advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and effectively in a team under pressure.
* Must have Australian work rights with no restrictions (No Visa Sponsorship available).
