Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Expeditor to join our client's team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring parts and materials are delivered on time to support smooth business operations across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
Expedite parts for planned maintenance events and site shutdowns
Monitor and follow up on overdue purchase orders
Track and confirm overnight deliveries to remote sites
Manage backordered parts to ensure timely supply
Coordinate invoice queries with the wider finance team
Produce and distribute reports to support purchasing and logistics functions
Develop and refine reporting processes to improve the procure-to-pay cycle
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years' experience in supply chain, purchasing, or logistics
Background using ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDE (desirable)
Strong time management and prioritisation skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
A high level of attention to detail and problem-solving capability
Completion of Year 12 secondary education (or equivalent)
Further studies or training in supply chain highly regarded

Casual Loading
Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
