Join to apply for theSenior Technical Managerrole atDXC TechnologyJob Description We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Manager to provide expert guidance, strategic oversight, and technical leadership across our Workers' Compensation portfolio. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality claims management, strong compliance, and outstanding performance outcomes across the organisation.As a senior leader, you will drive continuous improvement, uplift technical capability, influence strategic decision-making, and partner closely with internal stakeholders, including our Legal team to ensure best practice across the scheme.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and drive continuous improvement across technical practicesEnsure claims teams meet performance and APA targetsWork with the Legal Manager to develop and implement performance strategiesLead entitlement and forensic review activities, including fraud identification and referrals to WorkSafeProvide technical guidance on claims management and legislationSupport claims teams to meet service, compliance and performance measuresDevelop strategic initiatives and procedures to uplift performance and complianceBuild strong internal and external stakeholder relationshipsSupport organisational compliance with legal, governance and WorkSafe requirementsReview claims practices, identify trends and recommend improvementsPartner with the Legal Manager on strategies to support remuneration and performance outcomesAbout YouStrong technical expertise in the Victorian Workers' Compensation schemeIn-depth understanding of relevant legislation and WorkSafe guidelinesExperience in a technical specialist or similar senior roleSkilled in managing stakeholder relationships and competing prioritiesExcellent time management and organisational skillsStrong problem-solving, negotiation and strategic-thinking abilityProven experience coaching and mentoring case managersOur Culture And Benefits DXC is committed to building better futures for our customers, colleagues, environment, and communities.
