The Opportunity
Join our team at headspace Armidale and make a real difference in the lives of young people. You'll provide recovery-oriented, evidence-based therapeutic interventions to young people with mild to moderate mental health presentations across four core streams:
* Mental health
* Alcohol and other drugs
* Physical and sexual health
* Work and study support

What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver individual counselling and group programs, including social connection activities.
* Identify and manage clinical risk effectively.
* Maintain accurate and compliant records.
* Apply evidence-based interventions for young people experiencing mental health challenges.
* Work autonomously in rural settings with supervision support.
What We're Looking For
* Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, or another Allied Health profession (or relevant study with willingness to seek registration).
* Ability to deliver counselling and group programs.
* Strong risk management and record-keeping skills.
* Knowledge of youth mental health and evidence-based interventions.
* Current NSW Driver's Licence, ability to travel, Working With Children Check, and National Police Check.
