About the role
The specialist District Clinical Trials pharmacist will provide a comprehensive clinical and pharmaceutical service in the designated speciality areas in the pharmacy department. Undertaking responsibility for the operational oversight of pharmacy services for Clinical Trials, managerial, clinical and dispensary pharmacy duties are included as part of the responsibilities. Working in a multidisciplinary team, assisting in training of pharmacy staff, review and development of protocols and policies, ensuring that legislative requirements are followed focusing on high quality and safe medication management. Working closely with other senior roles to support the Director of Pharmacy to ensure the provision of safe and cost-effective medication management focusing on patient centered care to ensure optimal health outcomes.
