Fellow - Reproductive Medicine & Infertility

The South Metropolitan Health Service & Monash IVF are recruiting a 1.0 FTE Unaccredited Reproductive Medicine & Infertility Fellowship for a fixed‐term, full‐time appointment for 12 months with the possibility of extension(s). Appointments may be made from this pool until 30/09/2026.

Position Profile

The fellow will assist fertility specialists in regular theatre sessions and contribute to clinical and research duties at Monash IVF under the direct supervision of Dr Tamara Hunter, WA Monash IVF Medical Director. The fellow will also undertake senior registrar‐level duties at Fiona Stanley Hospital. The preferred candidate will be a RANZCOG advanced trainee or holder of a FRANZCOG with an interest in pursuing a career in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility.

Eligibility and Conditions

Unaccredited Fellowship Eligibility – Position is available to candidates who have completed core and advanced training, hold a FRANZCOG, or have been deemed suitable for a fellowship by the Head of Department.

Accredited Fellowship Eligibility – Accreditation can be achieved if the candidate has successfully obtained a RANZCOG CREI training number.

If the above condition is not met, the CREI role will be classified as a Senior Registrar (Unaccredited) position.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) – a 783‐bed tertiary hospital offering a wide range of health services including rehabilitation, cancer, mental health, maternity, paediatric, neonatal services and specialized services such as heart and lung transplantation.

Fremantle Hospital (FH) – a 300‐bed specialist hospital focused on aged care, mental health, rehabilitation, planned surgeries and medical services.
