Job Description: Blue Horizon Migration Pty Ltd offers the opportunity to pour, spread, smooth and finish concrete for structures such as footings, retaining wall bases, drainage headwalls, slabs and civil infrastructure. The candidate will report to the Site Supervisor.

Benefits

* Annual Salary: $69,160k + Superannuation.
Responsibilities
* Place and screed concrete to required levels and gradients on commercial and civil sites.
* Compact, shape and finish concrete surfaces to project specifications.
* Set up formwork and position steel reinforcement for retaining wall bases, headwalls and civil infrastructure.
* Secure structural fittings such as anchor bolts and steel plates into freshly poured concrete.
* Create control joints and edge profiles with appropriate hand tools.
* Use power trowels to achieve specified surface textures and finishes.
* Apply curing compounds and protective coverings to control moisture loss and ensure concrete strength.
* Saw contraction joints into cured slabs using angle grinders and power cutting equipment.
* Grind and abrade exposed or vertical surfaces to achieve a clean finish where required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum qualification: Compulsory secondary education (completed).
* At least one year of relevant full‐time work experience in the last five years; may substitute for formal qualifications.
* Must have a White Card.
* Applicants must have at least one year of highly relevant full‐time work experience in Australia within the last 5 years; if not, must have 2 years of experience.
