Department of HealthCommunity, Mental Health & WellbeingCMHW - Tasmanian Health Services Applications must be submitted by Friday 19 December, :55 PM Friday 19 December, :55 PM AEST Award/Classification Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement, Allied Health Professional, Level 3 $110,425 to $121,907 per annum Employment type Permanent, full time Region South Location Family Violence Service South The Family Violence Counselling and Support Service is seeking a Psychologist provide specialist services to children, young people and families The Team The Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS) offers specialised counselling and support to assist adults, children and youngpeople who have experienced family violence.
This service is part of the Safe at Home service system, with astrong focus on the safety and well being of victim survivors of family violence.

Background The Children and Young Persons' Program (CHYPP) was established as part of the Safe at Home whole of government integrated response to family violence within Tasmania.
CHYPP is located within the Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS) and works in close collaboration with other key Safe at Home agencies.
The Role Provide specialist psychological services to children, young people and families affected by family violence, in accordance with best practice principles and within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
You will need to Assist children and young people to recover from the effect of family violence trauma through the delivery of developmentally appropriate specialist psychological services and therapeutic support.
Undertake appropriate forms of interventions within family violence, trauma and attachment frameworks in line with evidence based practice and contemporary therapeutic models.
Undertake psychological assessments of children, young people and their families using standardised assessment methods.
Provide therapeutic interventions, case management services and, if necessary, referrals to appropriate agencies.
Contribute to and participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of programs, including group programs and sessions for clients of Children and Young Persons' Program (CHYPP) and Family Violence Counselling and Support Service (FVCSS).

Details of appointment Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary $110,425 to $121,907 per annum.
Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of ****.
