Role Overview
This role presents a fantastic opportunity for someone who is happy to work as a casual employee. The hours of casual work are flexible, typically every third Saturday and one weekday during the working week. You will be joining a high‐performing team and making a meaningful difference every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical support for surgical procedures in theatre.
* Build relationships with our key surgeons and their nursing staff through training, education, and clinical case support.
* Ensure that all surgical cases are properly equipped with the required instrument kits, implants, and user guide as per each customer's requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in a clinical or theatre environment, or a background in nursing.
* Preferably scout/scrub nurses with exposure to spine and/or orthopaedic cases.
* A tertiary education in a related medical field such as physiotherapy, paramedicine, biomedical engineering, anatomy, or nursing is ideal.
* Direct experience working in an operating theatre environment.
* Resilience and versatility – able to work autonomously or in a team and dedicated to providing first‐class customer service.
* Current driver's license (essential) and flexibility to travel within Victoria.
