About The Role
As a dental assistant and receptionist, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, flexible, and eager to be part of a caring and skilled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance to clinicians, ensuring high clinical standards and patient comfort
- Oversee sterilisation and infection control procedures in line with ADA and WHS standards
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and clinical equipment
- Support front-desk operations including patient bookings, recalls, payments, and health fund claims
- Welcome and engage patients with warmth and professionalism
- Contribute to the refinement of clinical processes and quality improvements
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a dental assistant, with sound infection control knowledge (certification highly regarded)
- Strong clinical capability, reliability, and attention to detail
- We are looking for candidates who are not only experienced but also interested in developing leadership skills and contributing to the centre’s clinical and operational excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, positive attitude with a focus on teamwork and patient care
- Flexibility to assist both chairside and in reception as needed
- Experience with OASIS and Examine Pro software is desirable but not essential
- An interest in developing skills and contributing to the centre’s clinical and operational excellence
