This project focuses on evaluating key stages of the mining cycle (drill, blast, load, and haul) and using data-driven insights to enhance scheduling, equipment utilisation, and overall operational performance.**Your involvement*** Conduct field-based time studies to assess operational performance* Analyse productivity across drill, blast, load, and haul activities* Engage with operational and mine planning teams to gather insights* Collaborate with equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to understand performance factors* Support identification of opportunities to reduce delays and improve efficiency**About you**We are interested in hearing from curious university students:* Where successful completion of a placement is either mandatory for graduation or a requirement for a unit of study* Self-motivated and passionate for their chosen discipline, eager to learn and expand their knowledge.* Capable of working independently with the ability to communicate and engage with multiple stakeholders to obtain a project outcome.* Strong team players with effective time management, organisational and problem-solving skills.* Able to travel to and from your work location each day.You'll receive a suitable level of responsibility to tackle assigned project(s), leveraging your innovative thinking, motivation to learn, and passion for growth to make meaningful contributions to the business.
