Penola Catholic College requires a skilled Deputy Principal, Senior Campus to ensure strong, strategic leadership within a culture of innovation and high expectations.
Responsibilities
The Deputy Principal, Senior Campus is responsible for leading and supporting staff in the development of a creative and engaging curriculum that meets the varied needs of the College's students. The role has a strong focus on the development of a culture of learning and teaching to maximise students' learning outcomes and encourage personal excellence. The Deputy Principal Senior works with the Deputy Principal Junior and is assisted by an Administration Assistant.
About You
* Demonstrated ability to model contemporary teaching practice and understand how students \"learn best\".
* Knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks.
* Capacity to provide leadership characterised by continuous improvement, lateral thinking and innovation, holding team members to account where necessary.
* Highly organised and registered with VIT.
* Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.

Penola Catholic College is a co‐educational college for students from years 7–12 with two campuses in the northern suburbs of Melbourne. The Glenroy campus caters for years 7 and 8, and the senior campus in Broadmeadows features years 9 to 12 with a total enrolment of approximately 1,500 students.
