Spectrum Officer Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for protecting the Bureau's services through analysis of wind farm developments and RF spectrum allocations.
This key position within the Operational Technology team will require the individual to apply their expertise in RF propagation, interference, and path loss calculations to weather radars, wind profilers, ionosondes, RF communications links, and active and passive satellite measurements.
* RF analysis for acquisition and maintenance of spectrum licences
* Analysis for the impacts of wind farms on Bureau sensors
* RF analysis for occupational and general public safety zones for Bureau RF systems

Requirements:
The successful applicant will have extensive technical experience in RF propagation, interference, and path loss calculations. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities.
