Responsibilities
* Prepare hose assemblies from components in accordance with customer timeframes.
* Descale and passivate hose assemblies using barrel and pedestal grinders, pickling paste, and passivation liquid (both acid-based).
* Pressure test hose assemblies using hydrostatic and pneumatic methods.
* Paint mild steel fittings and flow arrows.
* Dry and cap hose assemblies.
* Upload and fill out certificates.
* Operate various types of machinery and hand tools safely.
* Complete training as required by the business.
* Maintain a safe and clean work area.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar manufacturing/industry environment.
* Ability to work to a schedule while producing quality products.
* Team player, ensuring individual goals are achieved.
* Intermediate PC skills.
* Understanding of safe work practices and hazard identification.
* Time management skills.
* Driver's licence.
* Willingness to cross‐train in other areas to support staff leave.
Preferred Experience
* Previous experience with hose, hose fittings, related products and assembly, hydraulic and industrial hoses.
