Overview
Fractional Credit & Risk Manager — Location: North Sydney, Onsite. Work Type: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract (3 to 4 days per week).
We are seeking an experienced Fractional Credit & Risk Manager to join a high-growth organisation within the financial services sector. This is a hands-on, embedded role supporting the business on an ongoing basis, with a strong focus on leading the day-to-day Credit and Risk function. This role suits a senior professional who thrives in agile environments and brings deep expertise in credit operations, risk oversight, and team leadership within lending environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the day-to-day Credit and Risk function
* Oversee credit operations, service levels and performance
* Manage and develop an existing Credit team
* Support the development and implementation of credit policies
* Monitor portfolio performance and risk exposure
* Drive process improvements and uplift team capability
* Provide reporting, insights and recommendations to the executive team
About You
* Proven experience in consumer lending, non-bank lending or fintech lending
* Strong understanding of credit risk and credit decisioning frameworks
* Demonstrated experience managing credit teams and operations
* Hands-on leadership style with ability to embed into the business
* Strong stakeholder engagement and executive reporting capability
