Job Description
Ready to launch your career in aviation? Safran Helicopter Engines Australia is offering an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Apprentice Aircraft Mechanic, commencing in February.
This 4‑year apprenticeship combines hands‑on experience with study at TAFE, leading to a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical). Along the way, you’ll work directly with the world’s leading helicopter engine manufacturer and gain skills that can take you anywhere in the aviation industry.
Job Requirements
About You
- Completed or currently completing your Higher School Certificate (or equivalent) by the end of (year), with a focus on Maths and Physics.
- Curious about how things work and enjoy problem‑solving.
- Genuine interest in aviation or mechanics, shown through previous work experience, hobbies or hands‑on projects (mechanics, tinkering, maintenance).
- Solid results in technical or science‑based subjects.
