Support Coordinator / Mental Health Recovery Coach (Psychosocial)

As a Support Coordinator / Mental Health Recovery Coach (Psychosocial), you will work collaboratively with participants to develop and implement tailored strategies, fostering resilience and connecting them with relevant services.
Job Description
* Key Responsibilities:
* Develop in-depth knowledge of local services and organisations that support our customers.
* Provide coaching and crisis support to participants, promoting recovery-oriented practice.
* Determine budget allocations for each support type and liaise with plan managers regarding fund distribution.
* Liaise with plan managers to establish accurate claim categories and ensure correct fund distribution.
* Coordinate NDIS plans, focusing on participant independence and recovery.
* Manage risk according to organisational policies and procedures.
* Resolve any issues or challenges arising during support coordination.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A minimum Diploma in community services, mental health, or a related field.
* Experience as a Support Coordinator and/or Mental Health Recovery Coach (Psychosocial) with a strong understanding of recovery-oriented practice.
* Ability to obtain combined disability worker screening and blue card.
* Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with external service providers and participants' formal and informal supports.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in a relevant position.
