Estimator – High-End Residential About the company Multi-award-winning design and build firm delivering architecturally designed custom homes and luxury renovations across Sydney Highly regarded within the high-end residential market for exceptional quality, craftsmanship and client experience Integrated architecture and construction business allowing projects to be carefully developed from concept through to completion Strong pipeline of premium residential projects with a reputation built on referrals, repeat clients and industry relationships About the role/duties Key responsibilities include: Prepare detailed BOQs, estimates, proposals and cost plans for custom homes and major renovations Work closely with architects and designers throughout the design phase providing real-time cost planning and budgeting advice Lead value engineering discussions to ensure projects align with both design intent and client budgets Provide construction methodology, buildability and feasibility advice throughout the pre-construction process Develop scopes of works, procurement schedules, contract documentation and pre-construction deliverables Manage the transition from pre-construction to construction, acting as a key point of contact for clients Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive and reliable pricing Review drawings, specifications and documentation to ensure accurate pricing and project planning Contribute to the ongoing improvement of estimating systems, processes and documentation standards Skills & Experience Proven experience estimating high-end residential projects within the custom homes sector Strong understanding of construction methodology, trade sequencing and residential construction practices Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications and detailed documentation Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients, architects, designers and subcontractors Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify practical and cost-effective solutions Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience using estimating software and construction management systems Previous carpentry or site-based construction experience highly regarded Detail-oriented, proactive and committed to delivering exceptional outcomes Culture Collaborative and high-performing team environment Family-run business with supportive leadership and flexible working arrangements Strong focus on continuous improvement, professional development and personal growth Opportunity to play a meaningful role in shaping premium residential projects Benefits to you Unique opportunity to influence projects from early concept through to construction commencement Work on some of Sydney's most exciting architecturally designed luxury homes Join an award-winning business experiencing strong growth and continued success Work directly alongside talented architects, designers and construction professionals Long-term career opportunity with genuine progression and the ability to influence the future growth of the business Salary $150k - $180k Super (dependent on experience) How to apply If you are interested in this Estimator job vacancy, then please email a copy of your resume to jessica.corcoran@acrworld.com or call Jess Corcoran on 0406 075 569.
