The Role
* Assist in setting up formwork and ensuring correct depth, pitch, and alignment.
* Spreading and levelling of concrete using rakes, shovels, hand and machine trowels
* Screeding and finishing concrete including chipping, scraping and grinding of high spots, ridges and rough projections using pneumatic chisels, power grinders and hand tools
* Curing of concrete and monitoring the effects of weather during the curing process
* Assisting with backfill, vibration and concrete compaction
* Sanding and patching
* Installing fixtures in concrete such as anchor bolts, steel plates and door sills
* Inspect and ensure formworks and temporary works are firmly secured prior to concrete pour
About You
* 2+ years Industrial experience in concreting
* Previous construction experience within the mining and resources (preferable)
* Nationally recognized Construction Safety Awareness card (White Card)
