Allygroup is seeking a junior lawyer to work for a high-profile private construction firm. The role offers a unique opportunity to assist with property and construction matters and sales in a large development. Key duties may include:
* Preparing and reviewing contracts for sale, transfer documents, and other related legal documentation.
* Managing and completing conveyancing transactions for property sales for a large development project.
* Liaising with clients, agents, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely settlements.
* Conducting title searches and due diligence in accordance with ACT property laws.
* Utilising PEXA for electronic conveyancing and settlements.
Essential Requirements
* Experience in ACT conveyancing, including familiarity with local property legislation and procedures.
* Minimum of 6-12 months ACT conveyancing experience required.
* Proficiency in using PEXA for electronic lodgment and settlement.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
* Qualified lawyer or licensed conveyancer required for this position.
Desirable Skills
* Litigation experience will be highly regarded.
* Ability to manage multiple files and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
