Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking an experienced Frontend Web Developer to maintain and evolve our enterprise SaaS Fleet Management platform. This is a unique opportunity to bridge legacy and modern technologies. You'll work with our production ASP.NET MVC application while leading our migration to a modern frontend framework.
While the role is fully remote, you must be based in either NSW or QLD Australia and have Australian Citizenship or an Australian Permanent Residence visa.
You’ll be working on a market-leading product with a highly engaged customer base, so everything you build will have an instant, positive impact. Performance, security, and scalability will always be top of mind.
Our Roadmap
- Delivering new features while maintaining existing functionality
- Migrating from legacy .NET Framework 4.8 projects to .NET 8+
- Leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery
- Modernizing our frontend and development practices
Technical Skills Required
- ASP.NET MVC 5 / Razor: 6+ years with server-side rendering
- Telerik Kendo UI: 4+ years with complex component implementations
- CSS: Strong styling fundamentals and responsive patterns
Modern Framework Skills (Must have at least ONE)
- Blazor – best for C# development team to learn
- React – largest ecosystem and talent pool
- Vue – fastest JS framework learning curve
- Svelte – best performance and developer experience balance
- Your recommendation – if you can justify it for our context
- .NET Core / ASP.NET Core experience
- Component-based architecture
- Testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, MSTest)
Development Practices
- Agile methodologies and working in agile teams
- Atlassian suite (Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence)
- Git source control and branching strategies
- Code reviews and collaborative development
- OWASP security principles

Qualifications
- Qualifications in Computer Science/Engineering or similar (or equivalent experience)
