Overview
Our client is seeking a hardworking and outgoing Sonographer to join their team as they open their new practice in Charters Towers.
Charters Towers is a large rural town in North Queensland, located approx. 140km south-west of Townsville.
Responsibilities
* Work well within a team alongside other health professionals, but also be able to confidently work independently as this will begin as a sole sonographer position.
* Perform a wide range of ultrasound procedures (General, Small parts, Vascular, MSK, Pregnancy) within a private setting. Competency in specialised ultrasound procedures is welcomed but not essential, e.g. Nuchal Translucency, Echocardiography.
* Manage your worklist efficiently and be able to accommodate urgent cases.
* May supervise/train junior sonography staff.
* Hold current ASAR registration. Current CPR certificate is also preferred.

* Standard Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm
* 5 weeks leave accrued annually
* Hourly rate: $65 – $90/hr (negotiable to reflect level of experience)
