Defence Systems Engineer Role
As a skilled Defence Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in delivering complex defence projects that safeguard Australia's future.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engineering Management Planning: Contribute to the development and maintenance of bespoke Engineering Management Plans (EMP) and related artefacts in alignment with ASDEFCON standards.
* Schedule-Driven Execution & Assurance: Execute engineering plans in accordance with Product Schedules, Work Take On agreements, and contractual obligations, ensuring timely and compliant delivery.
* System Safety & Configuration Integrity: Define and maintain a System Safety Management System and ensure product baselines, including ILS and logistics data, are technically sound and delivered as scheduled.
* Stakeholder Engagement & Governance: Engage with stakeholder boards to ensure conformance without compromising project timelines or budgets.
* Workforce & Capability Planning: Incorporate workforce attributes, technical authority requirements, and logistics factors such as Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Supportability into engineering planning.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of defence systems engineering principles and practices. They should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
