About The Role

TasNetworks is seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support the North West Transmission Developments (NWTD) by leading the planning, scheduling and performance management activities that keep this major project on track. In this role, you will be the project's subject matter expert for schedule development, progress measurement and reporting, schedule quality assurance, earned value management and integrated project controls.

You will work closely with Project Controls, Commercial, Engineering, Procurement and Construction teams, as well as the EPC contractor, to build and maintain accurate project schedules, schedule baselines, basis of schedule and scheduling frameworks. Your work will provide the insights needed to support decision‐making, manage risks and ensure the project delivers on time, within budget and in line with approved plans.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, analysis and working in a fast‐paced major project environment.

What You'll Do
* Develop and maintain project schedules including schedule baselines, critical path analysis and resource and cost loaded plans.
* Establish and manage WBS and CBS structures in collaboration with Construction, Commercial, Project Controls and Contractor teams.
* Implement progress measurement including Rules of Credit, S‐Curves and performance dashboards.
* Lead Earned Value Management including SPI, CPI and variance analysis.
* Support integrated project controls ensuring cost, schedule and physical progress remain aligned.
* Prepare reporting and insights for weekly, monthly and executive level updates.
* Support change and risk management including schedule impact assessments.
* Interface with internal and external stakeholders including EPC contractor, engineering, procurement and construction teams.
* Develop metrics and presentations for the Project Leadership Team, Executive and Board.
* Provide backup support to other Project Controls team members as required.
About You

You're an experienced project controls or scheduling professional with strong capability in planning, scheduling and earned value management within major infrastructure, EPC or capital works environments. You understand how scope, cost, schedule and risk interact, and you're confident interpreting technical documentation, commercial frameworks and contract requirements.

You bring a structured, analytical approach to your work and enjoy building processes, frameworks and tools that support project performance. You're comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams, influencing stakeholders and presenting insights to senior leaders. You thrive in complex project environments where accuracy, timeliness, governance, assurance and proactive problem‐solving matter.

You Will Also Bring
* A degree in project management, engineering, commerce or similar
* Strong knowledge of project controls best practice including AACE frameworks and recommended practices
* AACE Project Scheduling Professional (PSP) designation preferred
* Experience with CPM scheduling and resource/cost loaded schedules
* Experience with EVM including SPI, CPI and variance analysis
* Ability to interpret technical and commercial documentation
* Experience with Primavera P6, InEight, SAP or similar
* Advanced Excel and data visualisation skills
* Experience with QRA and Monte Carlo simulation
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a major project environment
