Black Swan Health Street Doctor Volunteers Needed - Outreach Worker & Driver
Black Swan Health Street Doctor is a mobile medical health service that provides a visible, easily accessible and non-judgmental primary health care service to marginalised, disadvantaged and homeless people in our community. The service aims to care for those members of our community who for many reasons may not access mainstream general practice.
The Outreach Worker & Driver will provide an outreach service for the Black Swan Health Street Doctor clients and potential clients by facilitating communication, providing education and informal counselling, assisting with referrals to appropriate agencies and health care services, and driving the van to designated locations.
Volunteers are a valuable part of the Black Swan Health Street Doctor's team. To be considered for the role you need to have a Light Rigid (LR) Driver's Licence.
