We are seeking an experienced Employee Engagement & Events Senior Specialist to join a leading global technology company. In this role, you will plan, organise, and deliver initiatives that bring company culture and values to life for employees. Based in Sydney, you will shape and enhance local engagement strategies while contributing to global programs. You’ll manage in-person events locally and oversee regional events remotely, reporting to the Senior Manager of Employee Engagement based in Dublin, Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Management & Delivery
- Execute key company initiatives in partnership with Real Estate, Internal Communications, Global Safety & Security, and other teams.
- Design creative events and campaigns celebrating local culture, holidays, and business milestones.
- Support leadership and HR teams with business-facing events such as All Hands, Town Halls, and updates.
- Participate in local leadership meetings to ensure alignment and transparency.
- Culture & Inclusion Champion
- Lead with company values and collaborate with equality and volunteering teams to maximise impact.
- Budget Management
- Oversee strategic planning and operational guidance for event budgets.
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years in employee engagement, community management, project management, and/or event planning.
Preferred Skills
- Strong program and project management capabilities.
- Creative, strategic thinker with a sense of ownership.
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.
- Skilled in stakeholder management across functions and geographies.
- Experience working with global teams and remote management.
- Proficiency with Slack and Google Workspace.
- Experience managing large-scale employee events (200+ attendees).
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
