Are you looking for a flexible contract opportunity within a close-knit creative events team? We're partnering with a highly regarded events agency based in Sydney's East that delivers impactful conferences, corporate events and live experiences for a diverse client portfolio.
With a strong pipeline of projects and a busy second half of 2026, the agency is seeking a Junior Event Manager to join the team on a part‐time contract basis.
The Role:
This role offers the opportunity to work across a range of corporate conferences and events while being supported by an experienced team who are happy to provide training and development. Working closely with the General Manager and Event Producers, you'll support the delivery of multiple projects across planning, administration, registrations, delegate communications and event operations. This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who enjoys the detail behind successful events and is looking to further develop their event management skills in a collaborative agency environment.
* Support the planning and delivery of conferences, meetings and corporate events
* Manage event registrations, delegate communications and event websites through EventsAIR
* Coordinate suppliers, venues and event logistics
* Assist with event documentation including run sheets, production schedules and timelines
* Support onsite event delivery, bump in, event operations and bump out
* Maintain project timelines and workflows using Monday.com
* Assist with budget administration and expense tracking
* Coordinate travel, accommodation and attendee requirements where required
* Provide general project and administrative support across the wider events team
The Candidate:
* Experience within events, marketing, hospitality or a related industry
* Exposure to conferences, corporate events, exhibitions or activations is highly regarded
* Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
* Confident communicator with a proactive and positive attitude
* Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
* Experience with EventsAIR and/or Monday.com would be advantageous, however training will be provided
* A willingness to learn and contribute as part of a collaborative team
Salary & Benefits:
* Contract role through to mid‐November 2025
* Immediate start available
* Approximately 30 hours per week across 4 days, potential to flex to 5 days during busy periods
* $40 per hour (with some flexibility for more experienced candidates)
