Monadelphous are seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our PNG operations team on a fixed‐term basis, based in our Brisbane Head Office. Periodically you will be required to travel to site in Papua New Guinea for short visits. To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience managing project execution teams and subcontractors, including the coordination and management of procurement and construction activities. You will demonstrate the ability to liaise daily with on‐site and off‐site client representatives, suppliers, and construction stakeholders. Well‐developed communication skills and the ability to prepare correspondence and reports are essential, as is a high level of self‐motivation to effectively coordinate project activities across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

What you will bring
* Tertiary or Trade qualifications in a relevant discipline
* Previous PNG experience in the mining and, or oil and gas sectors (highly regarded)
* 5-10 years construction or project delivery background within the resources industry
* Strong understanding in commercials, budgets/construction metrics, estimating, forecasting and change management involving changes to scope, quantities and timeframes
* Well‐developed written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively prepare correspondence, reports and instructions
* Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
* Demonstratable experience in driving high performance teams
* Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport
