The Opportunity We seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join our growing team, providing on-site medical care to residents within aged care facilities within the Newcastle region. This role offers a truly rewarding opportunity to practise relationship-based medicine within a supportive and well-structured model of care. As a GP with Access Aged Care, you will be part of a coordinated multidisciplinary team — including experienced nurses, telehealth specialists, and administrative staff — all working together to deliver comprehensive, patient-centred care. Our model is designed to reduce administrative burden, giving you the freedom to focus on clinical care and meaningful patient interactions. You will enjoy professional autonomy, a manageable caseload, and the opportunity to see the direct and lasting impact of your care on residents, their families, and facility teams. What We Offer Attractive Daily Rate: Earn up to $2,200 per day for an 8-hour workday. Support at Every Step: Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, telehealth geriatricians, physicians, and experienced admin staff. Quality Over Quantity: Manage a caseload of around 25 patients per day, focusing on delivering genuine, person-centred care. No After-Hours or Weekend Work: allowing you to enjoy your personal time. Your Schedule, Your Choice: Enjoy flexibility to choose the days that suit you. Room to Grow: Tailored for GPs interested in aged care, with clear pathways for long-term professional development in an expanding organisation. What We’re Looking For Availability: 1-2 days per week AHPRA Registration: General or Specialist registration (no conditions). Fellowship: RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship required. Tech-Ready: Comfortable with system-based reporting and familiar with common clinical software. Equipment: Must have access to a personal laptop.
