Our client, an established and growing food and beverage retail family-owned business is currently sourcing for an **Accounts Payable Officer **to join their team based in **inner Eastern suburbs of Adelaide.**

You will play an integral part in the day-to-day accounts' duties. You will be responsible for accounts payable and other varied administrative and accounts tasks.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assisting team with end-to-end accounts payable processing
- Entering all invoices from purchase orders
- Creating or setting up new creditor accounts
- Reconciling the supplier statements with invoices
- Attending to enquiries from our suppliers
- Entering monthly Credit Card statements
- Bank reconciliations
- Invoicing, receipting and allocating payments
- Banking & cash handling
- Assisting with data entry to process payroll
**About you**:
- Accurate and timely data entry
- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable
- Have a passion to learn and develop in the role
- Attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- Previous experience in the retail industry would be advantageous
- Confidently to initiate process improvements where appropriate
