We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a 9-day fortnight roster.
Job Description
This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with project standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will lead quality assurance activities across construction works and work closely with the business unit quality team to implement and drive quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing work packs including ITP's ITR's for the Brownfield projects.
* Actively communicating, participating, and contributing towards a positive Quality culture.
* Working with Leads to identify improvement opportunities and drive to implement plans to achieve quality project delivery.
* Coordinating the management of quality delivery, from kick off through to close out, working closely with the Quality Sponsors, Leaders, and Action Owners.
* Coordinating Lessons Learnt record, including communication and tracking with relevant stakeholders.
* Maintaining and monitoring Quality systems and procedures monthly statistics / Dashboard.
* Taking a lead role and working with planners for the completions process of scopes and work packs.
* Leading Quality workshops and coordinating Quality training.
* Reporting on and providing updates on all aspects of contract quality deliverables.
* Communicating delivery progress to the Construction Team and relevant stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Previous experience working in the resources sector in a multidisciplinary Quality role including development of work packs, ITP's ITR's.
* Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
* Experience in materials receipt, storage, and management.
* Cert 10 Welding QA.
* An understanding of quality systems, processes, audits, and general requirements for the construction and maintenance industries.
* Confident user of MS Office Suite, with previous experience working in SAP or Maximo.
* Well-developed communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
* A motivated and proactive approach to quality management and reporting.
* The ability to obtain relevant information, identify key issues and relationships, compare data from different sources, and identify cause-effect relationships.
