Responsibilities
* Supervise and guide civil construction plant operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
* Manage resources, contribute to cost control, and maintain budget awareness.
* Read and interpret construction plans and apply basic surveying skills in civil construction works.
* Collaborate with teams to achieve the Shire's vision and objectives.
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary qualification such as Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations or equivalent.
* Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a supervisory position related to road works construction, with demonstrated ability to manage resources and contribute to cost control and budget awareness.
* Minimum of five (5) years' plant operating, road construction, and maintenance experience.
* Construction Induction White Card.
* Current 'C' class Driver's Licence valid in Western Australia.
