Your new role
As a Short Term Maintenance Planner, you will:
Manage asset shutdown schedules over a 3–6 month horizon
Conduct pre-shutdown inspections and assess asset conditions
Develop and maintain shutdown plans (12-week to 4-week window)
Coordinate component changeouts, defect backlogs, and strategic tasks
Collaborate with site teams and project managers to plan labour and resources
Ensure BOM kits are accurate and additional parts are procured
Provide shutdown scopes to vendors and ensure budget alignment
Submit plans for review and confirm execution readiness
Host post-maintenance reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
What you'll need to succeed
Experience in maintenance scheduling and planning
Background in heavy mobile equipment (CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu)
Strong organisational and time management skills
High-level communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Proficiency in AMT and Microsoft Office
Valid Australian driver's licence
