* Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:15am – 3:45pm
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Helpdesk Coordinator to provide 9 weeks of cover during a peak operational period. This is a hands-on, operational role within a government agency, ensuring stable ICT support across the organisation while guiding junior staff.

Required Skills & Experience
* Solid background in ICT helpdesk / service desk support
* Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows, Active Directory, AV equipment, and connectivity
* Confident communicator with the ability to engage non-technical staff
* Experience coordinating small IT support teams or acting as second-tier escalation
* Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
* Familiarity with ITIL or structured support processes (desirable)

Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate the daily helpdesk workload
* Support staff with technical issues
* Triage and resolve Level 1/2 incidents, escalating where appropriate
* Monitor ticket queues and ensure timely resolution
* Troubleshoot AV and projector issues
* Handle login issues, account resets, and basic Active Directory tasks
* Assist with equipment setup, repairs, and warranty coordination
* Keep senior management informed of risks or incidents
* Undertake other duties as required by leadership
