Accounting Administration & Digital Records Assistant (Student Opportunity)
We are a well-established accounting firm seeking a motivated university student to assist with an exciting digital transformation project within our practice.
This role offers much more than administrative work. The successful candidate will gain valuable exposure to company secretarial recording systems, SMSF recording systems and general taxation and compliance documents, while helping modernise our internal record‐keeping systems.
About the Role
As part of our transition from paper-based records to digital systems, you will work closely with our professional team to:
* Digitise and organise client and practice records
* Assist in establishing and maintaining company secretarial record systems
* Assist with SMSF administration and record management
* Support the organisation of taxation and compliance documentation
* Review and improve document management processes
* Contribute ideas and feedback to help develop efficient digital workflows
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
* Currently studying Accounting, Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline
* Detail‐oriented and highly organised
* Comfortable working with technology and digital systems
* Able to handle confidential information professionally
* A strong communicator with a willingness to learn
* Self‐motivated and capable of working independently
* Previous accounting office experience is not essential, although it will be viewed favourably.
