Ultra Tune Myaree is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis at our Myaree workshop.Applicants must hold a Certificate IV in Motor Mechanics (or equivalent) and have at least one year of full-time equivalent experience in the automotive industry.The job requires the applicant to be able to perform the following duties to a high standard:? Examine vehicles to determine the extent of damage or malfunction;? Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using specialised testing equipment;? Repair, replace, and adjust worn or faulty parts;? Disassemble and reassemble engines, brakes, transmissions or steering gear;? Follow a checklist to ensure all parts are examined and tested;? Perform routine and scheduled maintenance services such as oil changes, lubrications, andtune-ups;? Discuss descriptions of vehicle problems, and work to be performed, with customers;? Works well in a team and communicates effectivelyThe salary is based on 38 hours per week at $75k to $80k per annum plus superannuation,depending on experience.The applicant must also hold a current driver's license and, if not an Australian permanent resident or citizen, possess a valid visa with work rights in Australia.Please submit your cover letter and resume via email only.
