We are currently seeking casual Disability Support Workers to join our passionate and dedicated team across the Gold Coast South region- services available from Elanora to Tweed Heads and surrounding areas.
About the Role
This rewarding role focuses on supporting NDIS participants to achieve their personal goals and participate fully in their communities. Support is tailored to individualneeds, promoting independence, choice, inclusion, and well-being.
We currently have a range of shifts available, averaging between 10–15 hours per week, with services generally delivered between 6:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday from $34.44 - $61.99 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
* Personal Care: Support with showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting
* Manual Handling: Assist with mobility and physical support needs
* Community Access: Facilitate participation in social, recreational, and community activities
* Domestic Support: Light cleaning, meal preparation, and general home care
* Behavioural Support: Assist clients with complex behaviours and implement strategies where required, including restrictive practices
* Client Support Plans: Provide care in line with individual service plans and communicate progress effectively
* Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely client records and reports
* Collaboration: Work alongside clients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals to support client goals
What You'll Need
* Australian Federal Police Check
* Current First Aid & CPR Certification
* NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
* NDIS Orientation Training Module
* Valid Australian Driver's Licence
* Own reliable, insured vehicle (with comprehensive insurance)
* Full working rights in Australia
* Smartphone with internet access
