The Role
We are seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join our growing team and play a key role in securing major infrastructure and road construction projects. Reporting to the Head of Work Winning, you will be responsible for developing high-quality tender responses, proposals, and capability statements that clearly communicate our experience, technical expertise, and value proposition. Working closely with operational, estimating, and commercial teams, you will transform technical information into clear, persuasive, and client-focused content.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Develop and manage bid schedules, milestones and deadlines (internal and external) for key projects.
* Write, edit and coordinate compelling tender submissions and bid documentation
* Develop tailored responses for EOIs, RFTs, proposals, and capability statements
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather technical, commercial and project information
* Ensure all submissions are compliant, accurate, and delivered within strict deadlines
* Maintain and continuously improve bid content libraries and templates
* Review tender requirements and coordinate response schedules
About You
* Previous experience as a Bid Writer or similar, within a civil construction, engineering or construction industries
* Exceptional written communication, proofreading, and editing skills
* Ability to write persuasive, concise and client-focused content
* High attention to detail along with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
