We are looking for an experienced **Injury Management Advisor** to join our clients People & Culture team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of managing return-to-work processes for our employees, ensuring their recovery and reintegration into the workforce is safe, efficient, and supported. **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Case Management**: Coordinate the rehabilitation of injured employees, developing and maintaining effective return-to-work (RTW) programs.
- **Injury Management Guidance**: Provide expert advice to management on workers' compensation and injury management, with a focus on early intervention and stay-at-work strategies.
- **Education & Support**: Educate staff and management on workers' compensation rights and responsibilities, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Collaborate with injured employees, medical professionals, and compensation specialists to ensure effective and timely recovery and return-to-work outcomes.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Monitor performance trends and contribute to the implementation of best practices to improve current injury management strategies.
- **Compliance & Reporting**: Maintain accurate case notes, data, and reporting in line with internal policies and external regulations.
**What We're Looking For**:
- **Qualifications**:
- WorkCover Return to Work Coordinator Training
- Tertiary qualification in WorkCover Management, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, or a related discipline
- Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment (desirable)
- **Experience**:
- Proven experience in managing injuries and illnesses in the workplace, including conducting assessments and providing rehabilitation and return-to-work advice.
- Strong understanding of workers' compensation legislative standards and guidelines.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, confidentiality requirements, and relevant ethical and legal protocols.
- **Skills**:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to managing injury cases and improving workplace health and safety outcomes.
- Valid Victorian Driver's License.
