Job Description
The Senior / Program Manager will be fully seconded to the client's office in Melbourne. The role is responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic programs representing major company initiatives. Managing a team that facilitates medium to large, complex, cross‐functional projects and programmes and the associated teams.
* Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, and conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
* Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish schedules, assign tasks, cross‐train staff, and track deadlines.
* Oversee large cross‐functional projects or programmes from end to end using a formal process.
* Ensure all functions remain on schedule and any issues are escalated and resolved so that the programme is completed on time.
* Manage internal and external relationships in support of programmes.
* Work with key stakeholders to develop solutions and guide project teams throughout delivery.
* Create and distribute routine PMO reports, including status reports and updated Gantt charts.
* Apply advanced knowledge to develop new, efficient methods for accomplishing objectives.
* Showcase expertise in own discipline and in‐depth knowledge of other disciplines within the organisation.
* Coach others to develop expertise across the function.
* Lead by example and model behaviours consistent with CBRE RISE values, influencing senior stakeholders.
* Impact achievement of customer, operational, project, or service objectives across multi‐discipline teams.
* Contribute to new products, processes, standards, and operational plans.
* Communicate complex ideas to influence decisions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8–10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience); PgMP or PMP certifications preferred.
* Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, performance appraisal, and retention.
* Innovative mindset to develop beyond existing solutions.
* Strong problem‐solving skills with broad business impact.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
* Highly organised with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
* Strong mathematical skills, including complex financial calculations.
