Role Details
Reporting to Superintendent Technology Mining, you will be responsible for providing detailed technical first line installation, support and administration of critical mine production systems and digital (IT/OT) infrastructure to ensure the mining operation meets operational targets in a safe, productive & efficient manner.

This role is offered on 8 days on, 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth.

About the role:
Conduct day-to-day maintenance and troubleshooting of OT systems, including Pit Wall Monitoring, Collision Avoidance Systems, and Operator Fatigue Systems, ensuring operational continuity with minimal downtime.
Implementing maintenance plans for OT systems.
Proactively identify faults within the OT hardware and software and undertake fault finding activities.
Assist in ensuring pit communication and camera infrastructure provides full coverage to operational areas.
Work collaboratively with OT system providers.
Management of Collision Avoidance and Operator Fatigue configurations, upgrades, and support requests.
Assist in investigating and implementing future technology.
About you:
Strong IT skills.
Valid 'C' class manual driver's license.
Recognised qualifications in Electrical, Auto Electrical, Communications, or equivalent experience.
Experience with Mining Fleet Management, Collision Avoidance, or Operator Fatigue systems is highly desirable.
Prior experience in a surface mining environment.
Able to work autonomously, adaptable to changing environments, and a willingness to learn.
Strong communication and planning skills.
Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues with critical mine technology systems.
Open cabler (coaxial endorsement) desirable.
